This French cultivar has been enjoyed in gardens for more than 120 years. Early flowering, the double white blooms carry a rose-like fragrance. Flowers are a bomb form that typically features a yellow glow at the base of the petals. A cut flower favorite, this peony is very free-flowering and dependable. Side buds open to create gorgeous sprays. The 28-inch stems need some support to hold up the abundant floral display. (Crousse 1885)
