When I bought my first house, I knew I wanted a variety of peonies. One of the cultivators I chose was Old Faithful. I chose it as a red flower with strong stems and it is that, but so much more! When this bloomed I was blown away. It has thick, sturdy stems and the most captivating red petals. The plant itself is nice, although my plant is still young and has some filling out to do. Leaves are a glossy green - on the dark side - and blend with other plants well. I am so happy this is in my garden. Pictures don't do this flower justice - it's incredible.
