Join us for a hands-on, in-the-field workshop where you’ll learn how to properly dig, divide, and replant peonies for healthy growth and future blooms. Participants will be taught how to identify when a peony root is ready to split, how to safely dig mature plants, and how to divide roots for successful propagation.
After instruction, guests will dig and split a peony root themselves with guidance from the farmer, and take home a peony division they personally harvested and prepared.
Sunday, September 13 | 1:00 PM – Until Complete Please plan for 2–3 hours on the farm.This workshop ticket is transferrable but non-refundable except in the event of inclement weather. This workshop will run with a minimum of 1 participant. There will be a maximum 10 participants allowed to join, should this workshop fill, a second will be scheduled at another date. Dress for dirt. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this workshop and involvement required, we ask all attendees must be 16 years of age or older, all minors age 16-18 must be accompanied by an participating, consenting adult, and all in attendance must purchase a ticket.
